>Targhee Pass Soft

Matt, Rick and I found the snow at Targhee Pass (Montana/Idaho line) to be deep, soft and stable!
This time, the most hazardous part of our adventure was negotiating the slick roads getting there and back!
Matt has just converted to AT skis from boarding and telemark; I “think” he enjoyed himself! Listen for his reactions! That’s him in the green and brown jacket…and the big grin!
This fine day of powder skiing is dedicated to the memory of Steve Yount: he passed away suddenly yesterday doing what he loved…skiing and patrolling. May all your turns be deep powder Steve…
