Although it looks like a good time was had by all at Targhee yesterday, I’ve been thinking about how we tend to get a little to anxious over getting out on skis when there’s barely snow on the ground. This little video comes from probably my best day of skiing last season. On April 22. Sure, it was an unusal snow year, but it reminds me that the best snow is still months away. So if I don’t get out and scratch and dent my skis on early-season rocks, I won’t stress. There’s plenty of time.

  1. OK, you got me. I’m really just jealous and trying to make myself feel better. Why buy skis if you’re afraid to scratch them?
