Avalanche Education

Taking an Online Avalanche Course is a great start in avalanche education.  Avalanche Safety Information is vastly available on the internet and is an intregal part of the process but should not replace hands on learning gained in a classroom and field setting taught by a Professional.

The Forest Service National Avalanche Center and the Canadian Avalanche Center Online Avalanche Course are two sites i highly recommend. Go the extra mile and subscribe to The Avalanche Review!

Taking an avalanche education course IS the best backcountry ski/snowboard investment you can make!
